Asha was born in India and raised in New York. She is an avid traveler and foodie. Her mission is to capture the beauty of life through real images and bring the joy of food and culture to her audience. She is the founder and CEO of FOODLY, a retail food service venture that aims to help bridge the gap between the theory and practice of eating well and appreciating food.

She began her journey in photography through a desire to help her audience appreciate the beauty of real food. Her work celebrates the candor of natural light and realistic composition, allowing the subject to be revealed in impartial honesty. She aims to bring a personal element to her photographs and build a connection with the viewer.

She creates and publishes NOURISHED Magazine, a quarterly issue that aims to inspire eating sustainably through stories, curated seasonal recipes and photographs.

She writes a well acclaimed blog, Fork Spoon Knife, where she showcases her food photography as well as her passion to make cooking accessible and sexy!
